We know you cant add all these morning routine ideas to your hectic life but challenge yourself to pick a couple that will be beneficial
  • Quietly sit and drink your fresh cup of coffee or with no distractions or phone. Give yourself a moment of mindfulness before you immerse yourself into the world of news, social media, and to-do lists.
  • Stay off your phone until a specific time, for example, 9 am. This means no emails, no social media, no texting. Do not stress your brain and body out until it’s fully hydrated, replenished, and your blood is flowing.
  • Ask yourself these questions: What is one thing I need to get done today? How can I add value to my day? What am I grateful for today?
  • Take your vitamins
  • Listen to music. Listen to what makes you feel good and gets your body moving. Uplift your spirit before you even leave the house.
  • Practice gratitude or meditation
  • Eat a well-balanced breakfast of fiber, protein, and antioxidants: English muffin with peanut butter or eggs and cheese. Oatmeal with fiber and antioxidant-rich berries. A banana with peanut butter or almond butter. Eggs and whole-wheat toast, a protein-rich smoothie or protein shake.
Having a successful morning routine means adding fuel and energy to set up your day.

  • Wake up at the same time the days you need and have to be productive (yes, you can sleep in when you don’t have work or school). Waking up every day at the same time adjusts your circadian rhythm. As does going to bed every night and having a night routine

  • Write out your grocery list or use any grocery app to manage your grocery list. Make it convenient and time-saving by ordering online and picking up your order. You save money by only shopping for what you need on your list. Or better yet, simplify your life with grocery delivery:
