Las Vegas
Things to do in Vegas Besides Gamble: A guide from a local/native family on what to do in Vegas besides gambling. There are some stunning attractions! You can find the guide here!
Being a Las Vegas native and semi-local, Las Vegas is one of the most fantastic warm places to visit in December in the USA.
The crowds in Vegas have thinned out, the weather is extremely mild, mid-70s most of the time with the occasional cooldown, the mountains surrounding the valley are snow-capped and it’s the perfect opportunity to walk the strip, and explore Red Rock Canyon, Hoover Dam, and the Valley of Fire.
Additionally, Vegas shows and Las Vegas hotels are at a deeper discount. Personally, from experience, I always recommend travelers visit Las Vegas during the fall and December. During summer it’s incredibly hot, more so the pools are the only relief.
Linq Promenade Las Vegas & High Roller: One of our favorite little spots in Vegas has shopping, dining, experiences, and a great hotel all in one centrally located spot! You can find the guide here! You may even find a nice, clean, roomy, highly recommended hotel room for under $50 a night!
